Terms of Use

Last updated: November 3, 2026

These are the terms for using brainmeta.com. They are short because the site is simple: you take tests in your browser, the results stay there, and nothing requires an account. By using the site you agree to them.

What the site is, and is not

brainmeta offers personality tests (MBTI-style, Big Five, Enneagram, DISC and a blood-type quiz) and a way to line up results from several of them. The tests are for self-insight, curiosity and entertainment. They are not clinical instruments, they are not administered by a professional, and the results are not a diagnosis, a medical opinion or advice about your health, relationships, career or anything else.

The blood-type test in particular reflects a popular belief, mainly in Japan and Korea, that has no scientific support. We include it because people enjoy it, and we say so on the blood-type page. If you are looking for mental health support, please contact a licensed professional.

No accounts

There is no sign-up and no login. Your answers, results, progress and any declared result are stored in your browser's local storage. If you clear it, switch browsers or use a private window, they are gone, and we cannot recover them because we never had them. Our privacy policy has the details.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break the site, scrape it at high volume, or use it to harm anyone. Do not present a brainmeta result as a professional assessment of yourself or another person, for example in hiring or in a legal or medical setting.

Content and intellectual property

The test questions, scoring, type descriptions, articles, graphics and code on this site belong to brainmeta unless credited otherwise. You may quote short passages with a link back, and you may share your own results however you like. You may not republish whole tests or articles, or build a product on our questions, without written permission.

MBTI and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator are trademarks of The Myers & Briggs Foundation. brainmeta is not affiliated with or endorsed by it; our test is an independent questionnaire that uses the same four-letter type language.

No warranty

The site and its content are provided as is. We do not promise that any result is accurate or that the site will always be available. Personality frameworks are models, not measurements, and two attempts at the same test can give different answers.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, brainmeta is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on a result, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change, and this page is where changes are posted. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in California.
