im not sure if this is the right place to post this but i just thought this would be a good thing to share.....

As you all know (i think) I write poetry and stories. and as some may have noticed there are many "silly" mistakes in them. this is a request for some help on those especially spelling.

Now why do i have the mistakes is a question and i guess i want to show how you can over come a disablity....

In first grade i could spell (properly) aproximantly.... 20 words. before we got into spelling lists.... after first grade i was up to 40 no problem.... i thought i was doind great 40 words! wow thats a bunch..... little did i know that was really bad.... when i was in 4th grade i read at the reading level of a 1st grader.... and even at that i read extemely slow...... i had to go to speacial classes all through 5th grade. and by sixth grade i was reading almost up to par. thats when i fell in love with poetry and litariture.... the more i read the fast i got... i cheated some...( never read the petty words i didnt know, or the words i couldn't pernounce).... and i got out of reading outloud as much as possible because i would read soo slow out loud the teacher would make me stop so some else could read since time was short...... i read at the 11th grade level now... (still skipping over words here and there lol) but hey i cuaght up pretty good.
So im not the best reader writer in the world... so if any of yall could help me out and tell me if theres a mistake i would be very appreciative..... thanks

Eye Kandi,

Thank you so much for posting! This was the perfect place for you to post this as reading is a disability so often overlooked as well as spelling I am so glag you shared your story here with me and others! You inspired me with your story as my fiancee is unable to read and spell very well either but I love him to death and his disability means nothing to me about the person he is! His spelling and reading is not who he is just something he struggles with on a daily basis we read your story together and he smiled as he has been feeling down about this saying how he wasn't smart and such! He made him feel better to know he was not alone! Your reading or spelling does not make you less of a person either!! You have defenitely shared how to overcome this and you should be very proud I would happy to help you in anyway I can but remember poetry at least to me is a gift of feelings and emotions and as long as the message gets acrossed that is what matters you have a great talent again thanks for making our day and giving us hope and inspiration!
