Do you know:
Rhythm of the brain
by György Buzsáki

no, but i've ordered the microcircuits book. I expect it to be a continuation of "Synaptic Organization of the Brain"
Paul King
This book looks great! I will definitely pick up a copy when it comes out.

I have both Synaptic Circuits by Shepherd and Microcircuits by Grillner and Graybiel, the two progenitor books. They are both full of meaty detail on the microstructure and signaling mechanisms of the brain.

Has anyone received a copy of this book yet? Curious about any initial reviews.

It's excellent, due partly to the outstanding editing and consistency in style throughout. There is an extraordinary amount of quality figures (most in colour). I recommend it.
