Well, currently 18 yrs of age. Stuggled w/ aspergers at early childhood. Stuggle w/ it currently to some extent. Hardly noticeable to most people around me until they really get to know me well.

Anyway, at about age 13 or so, I began having difficulties w/ brain fog(feeling like ur in a mental state of not being able to think straight. Could think of it as sleep deprevation, but not completely exact), memory, concentration, mild to moderate sleep difficulty, depression, and anxiety. I have been doing a therapy called neurofeedback. So far, I have been to 20 sessions out of 30. I don't really notice much difference except for one thing. There have been times when I could not sleep well at all. In fact, last year begginning my junior year in high school, I had an extremely difficult time getting back into the routine of going to bed early and getting up early. It was a pain! After taking sleep meds, I was able to get back into the routine however, I still struggled w/ sleeping.

Anyway, I'm rambling. About halfway or maybe less into neurofeedback(can't quite remember), I began to feel as if I could sleep way better than I used to. I am still struggling w/ my other cognitive difficulties, but I have a lot to be thankful 4 . I am just wondering when I am supposed to be expecting some changes, because I haven't felt any yet(other than sleep improvement. I'm captain obvious), and I'm still frustrated
.

The placements they have done so far are:
two electrodes each right above the ear w/ one ground on the right ear.
two electrodes each about an inch higher than the last placement w/ one ground on the right ear.
one electrode located on the left side on the forhead w/ two grounds on both ears.

From what the doctor said, I shouldn't be expecting any changes until we began the frontal lobes placement which is obviously the forhead. I have done four sessions w/ the frontal lobe placement. My regular visits are two visits every friday each visit equalling a session. I do still have 10 visits left, so I'm not giving up hope just yet.

Ok now I will ask the question. When should I start to maybe feel a difference? I don't know if all of this is too confusing, I'm just willing to give it a shot cuz I'm anxious to know when this should work. I know I could just ask the doctor, but it will be a little while before I can visit with him again.
