can anyone explain how this works - tried it multiple times, all with different answers

I did it 25 times and there's a 4% chance of it being right.

My brother also answered me and said:

"Start with the lowest number you can - 10. Keep going up one by one. You'll be surprised. And each time you try again, all the symbols change. But there is only one small set of correct answers all the time. They put the same symbol next to the numbers of the one correct set of answers. The grid is set up in such a way as to break up the pattern that exists."


I can now put the correct passage so for those who want some fun here ya go
