If you could choose your last thoughts before death, what would they be?

Great topic.

My last thought would be self-evaluation...and me being content with what I saw

Why not get there before you die, so that maybe an even greater thought could be entertained?

My husband worked with a good man named Felix, he was in his late 50's. He passed away by sudden heart failer while riding his tractor tending his yard. Among his many attributes his death was also a testimony to his life.
I too would like to be able to leave this life while tending to life's work and contemplating my next task. To die, living in the thought that I am just going to the next task.

lol- as luck would have it I'll probably be cooking dinner and yup, I'd be burning that pot roast again.

Good question ...I think I'm inspired to start using that oven timer !

But if it was his last thought, it wouldn't happen anyway. Unless you were there to witness his last thought, you'd still be left without the knowledge of the thought or the companionship of the drink..

That would be my wish too. Thankful for having accomplished, perhaps, something worthwhile, for having appreciative sons and daughters, and for having enough time and health to be satisfied. I have peace and thankfulness now, but there's work still to be done, and I hope when my time comes it will be without suffering, and the world will be at peace and on its way to eternal prosperity.

If humanity lives on, no one ever truly dies. The only way to really kill me is to wipe out all life everywhere.
