Full Version: Sluggish unless 10 minute nap. Why?

Hi BrainMeta. It is my first time on this board but I have been here lurking for quite a while. smile.gif

I have a problem with cognitive tempo and effective thinking. I noticed today, around 1PM, that I took a 10 minute nap and, as soon as I got up, I felt markedly more refreshed, quicker thinking, confident, speedier, everything. I felt much better. A feeling that I didn't typically notice and a performance level I don't typically maintain on a consistent basis.

I typically get 7-9 hours of sleep/night. Last night I got 7 hours of sleep and, additionally, had taken Primordial Performance's Sleep Stack, even.

Also, I've noticed that I crash pretty hard after breakfast and a high card meal. I am lethargic, tired, and cognitively slow.

Any ideas in the root of this? I am taking high dose of fish oils (Biotest Flameout, Udos Choice Omega 3-6-9) which used to help (or so it seemed) but now, about a month after starting, I am markedly more affected by this.

Suggestions?

I've suffered from this condition for years. I recently put together a stack that seems to combat this quite well. I posted the details in the Cognitive Enhancers forum (I'm not allowed to post URL's so you have to go find it).

Ah, what is your HIGH dose of fish oil? I personally had to switch off fish oil to every other day, or maybe even a couple times a week because of pronounced lethargy
