What is your opinion on taking anti-depressants for improving mental performance (not for treating depression). Since mood has a large effect on mental performance, I'm surprised that there are no substances (that I recognize) in your stack that promote a positive mood.

Also, I remember reading a post of yours where you stated something to the effect that moderating dopamine levels is better than using tradional SSRI's. I might be way off, but I think you said something to that effect. I tend to agree that I'd rather have extra dopamine rather than extra serotonin, but I'm curious as to why you would hold that preference.

Lastly, what are your thoughts about taking Bupropion for reasons other than treating depression?

If mood is playing a factor in impairing your cognitive state then mood enhancement would be a good goal. I would suggest targeting dopamine if stress is not a factor otherwise Serotonin and/or GABA depending on the level of stress.

I don't think much of bupropion other than some people may result to it's mode of action.
