Would someone in their freshman or sophmore year be experienced enough to fully benefit from the course?
The course is designed to be suitable for people with limited prior knowledge of neuroanantomy (and, for instance, begins with a general overview of the nervous system) because I want it to be accessible to basic neuroscientists and psychologists - as well as junior medical doctors with an interest in brain anatomy.
However, quite a bit of more advanced material is also included and those who come to the course with a good grounding in neuroanatomy will be able to take advantage of this. The bottom line is, I keep the course accessible to a wide range of students, but different people get different things out of the lectures and practical sessions depending on their pre-existing level of knowledge.
