Growing up in a village of ninja, Uzumaki Naruto never knew the adults of the village shunned him because sealed within him was the spirit of the demon fox who had destroyed their village 12 years ago. Characters:
Naruto - Not long after birth, the 4th Hokage sealed a Nine-Tailed Fox demon with ultimate chakra inside Naruto. Naruto was not to know about this demon. Even thou he not aware of the demon, the adults in the village hated him as though he was the demon itself. But some people in the village reconized him for who he is and not as a demon. Before he graduated in the ninja acedemy, he always pulled pranks on the village to be reconized in his own way. After Graduation he was put in a three people group. His new Teammates, Sasuke and Sakura, slowly grew to know Naruto and become closer friends. Naruto is always trying to surpass Sasuke. Naruto is not good at Molding Chakra so he wastes lots of energy, but the source of his stanima is the Nine-Tails. When Nauto becomes realy pissed off or emotional, the seal to the Nine-Tails will leak out and explode with power. This has occured Several times but Naruto has slowly learned to control this power. When he will be able to master this ultimate power, he will become the most powerfull person in this world.
Sasuke - The sole survivor of the Uchiha clan, sasuke attends the same academy as Naruto. In school, all though he was popular, he did not interact with anyone. The Bloodline Limit of his clan, is the Sharingan. Even before his academy days, he is always trying to surpass his older brother, Itachi, who was the pride of the Uchiha's. Seeking Revenge for what his brother did, he finishes school at the Ninja academy and is paired with Naruto and Sakura. Even though Naruto and Sasuke hated each other in the Academy, they have become best friends.
Sakura - A female ninja who has had a crush on Sasuke since her early days at the academy. Very intelegent, she graduates with high test grades and perfect knowlege of the text book ninja. Her being Teamed with Naruto and Sasuke is challenging for her, she likes Sasuke but hates Naruto. She can perfectly mold her chakra but her stanima is much less that that of Sasuke and Naruto. She is always trying to impess Sasuke and win his heart. Strength is not her strong point as she usually does not fight. But as time progresses, she wishes to become more powerfull and fights to save her village.
Kakashi - A Jounin teacher who is in command of the 7th squad. 7th squad members are Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. Accepting mostly D ranked missions there abilitys have greatly improved. Kakashi is more that he appears, for he posseses the Sharingan in one eye. He has lost all his friends in a mission, he has become friends with his new comrads. with his Sharingan he has become know as the copy ninja. Even though he has copied over 1000 techniques, he has one origonal ability, the Chidori, or called the Lightling Edge.
Gaara - Gaara of the Desert, is probably the most powerfull sand ninja in his country. He has a perfect defence, the sand, which will automaticaly block attacks even if it is against his will. Past that he entire body is cover in an armord sand. He is like Naruto, he also posseses a powerfull demon inside him. Gaara is always seeking a reason to exist. But after defeat at Naruto's country he has returned to repay his deeds but helping Naruto and his comrads. His path has lead him to Kazekage.
Shikamaru - Shikamaru is a very lazy person. Always trying to run away or not even motivated to fight, he is a super genius. He my complain alot but he can plot 200 different moves and counter strikes against his opponent. In the academy, he had low grades like Naruto, but only that he was too lazy to pick up the pencil. His is best friends with Chuuji and is paired with him in his team. Shikmaru, Chuuji and Ino are all teamed together and fight with Naruto against some foes. Shikamaru also has the Shadow bind technic. He has re-named it Shadow Limitation.
Chuuji - When he was young, he was always less liked because he is big boned. He found friend ship with Shikamaru before they attended the Academy. Always finding some thing to eat, he has greatly helped him comrads in battle and helped out his best friend, Shikamaru in lots of situations. Although he does not seem to be very powerfull. He packs the biggest punch in his group.
Ino - Ino has competed against Sakura for Sasuke. They used to be best friends but there crush tore them apart. At the academy, Ino has continued to fight for Sasuke, even though she was not teamed with him. Ino is teamed with Shikamaru and Chuuji, who she thinks they are just a lazy guy and a fat guy, so she trys to take command of her group, they did not care. Ino has the ability to enter another persons mind with the Mind transfer Technique. Every one though that Ino's team was the weakes among all the other teams, they have impresses alot of people.
Ninja Techniques:
In the world of Naruto each character has his/her own special moves/techiques. Other than the Bloodlines there are moves each character uses that makes him special in a way.
Uzumaki Naruto of the Konoha village has a few special techniques and unique. His "main" jutsu is the "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu" wich means "Shadow Replication Technique". It's similar to the basic "Bunshin no Jutsu" but in this case the user creates one or more real copies of himself to fight or for any other reason. The simple Bunshin is just a mere shadow to confuse the opponent but the Kage Bunshin can also be used to attack. But Naruto's strongest jutsu is the "Rasengan" or Spirit Sphere. The user gathers chakra on his hand giving it a spining movement and when it hits it sends the opponent flying. It is thought to be one of the top class jutsu's and most difficult to master. Only Naruto and Jiraiya can use this jutsu. But Naruto's most powerful weapon is the Kyuubi's chakra. Refer to "Demon's Guide" for more information about this.
The other main character of the series and Naruto's rival is Uchiha Sasuke. A decendant of the Uchiha Clan that wishes one day to kill his brother and avenge his family. Like all the Uchiha's, Sasuke's basic moves are fire element techiques. Like the "Katon, Gokakyou no Jutsu" (Blazing Fireball Technique) and "Katon, Ryuuka no Jutsu" (Dragon Fire Technique). As mentioned before, he's an Uchiha so he has a Bloodline Limit; the Sharingan wich he uses in all of his fights as it's only natural for him. Refer to the "Bloodline Limits" page to learn more about the Sharingan. He was trained by Hatake Kakashi and learned how to use his Sharingan but aslo learned how to move fast with hand-to-hand fighting techniques. His ultimate move is the "Chidori" or "Raiki". Basicly it's just a straight thrust like Gai explained. It's secret lies in the speed of the thrust, and the activation of the body to create a large amount of chakra. Then the user concentrates that large amount of chakra into the thrusting arm. And because of the speed that the user moves at, it emits a distinct sound similar to a thousand birds chipring. That's why it's named "Chidori" (Thousand Birds) or "Raiki" (Lighting Edge).
A Jounin level ninja called Hatake Kakashi. Also called Sharingan Kakashi because he bares the Sharingan in his right eye. Saying why would be a spoiler cause it hasnt been shown in the anime yet. Anyway, he uses his Sharingan to fight and he is said to have copied over 1000 techniques with his Sharingan. Also the Chidori is his only original move wich he has only taught to Sasuke. He is a genius among the jounins in the Konoha village, very strong and funny. He basicly uses any technique he has copied as his only original is the Chidori.
Rock Lee is a taijutsu (hand-to-hand combat) specialist taught by Kakashi's rival. He is very strong but he can only use taijutsu. His strongest technique is the "Lotus". Primary Lotus or Secondary. Both are extremely powerful and can knock down an opponent easily. These two moves work by the user's ability to open his "inner gates". The Eight Gates Manipulation is a preparation of taking limiters off to use the Lotus. Generaly, in the chakra circulatory system there are gates in each part of the body. From the top, they are the: Open Gate, Energy Gate, Life Gate, Wound Gate, Forest Gate, View Gate, Insanity Gate and Death Gate. Those are the eight places in the body where chakra holes are conectrated at. These are known as the Eight Gates. These gates control the chakra that goes through the body. But Lotus unfastens these controls with force and grants the user more than 10 times his power. The Secondary Lotus opens the first gate, the Open Gate wich unfastens the control of the brain and enables the user the use his muscles at their limits. Primary Lotus opens the Energy Gate and increases one's strenght forcefully and after opening the third gate, the life gate, Primary Lotus is carried out. Someone by opening all eight gates at once will have more power than the Hokage but there is a 99.9% that he'll die out of pressure. Lee is a fearsome opponent, although he may not seem to.
Hyuuga Neji. A very strong rookie like Sasuke. He also posseses a Bloodline Limit similar to the Sharingan. He uses taijutsu to fight but much different than Lee's. He uses his "Jouken" to hit the chakra holes on the opponents body to story the chakra flow so that his opponent will not be able to use any techniques or even move. He has a very powerful defensive technique too called "Kaiten". The user spins around releasing chakra to avoid being hit by any kind of move. Using that defence has a time limit though. Neji is one of the most powerful characters in Naruto.
