Life never smiled for those lips which smiled for others. But my last glance on that innocent face reminds me always the laughter of life.I dont know...wether you had such an experience...if not was for once atleast you were in india
The Clown's Daughter
In freezing winter or burning summer times
I wake to see that smiling face always
Dancing inside the speeding traffic with-
Two tiny eyes reflecting passerby smiles
She mimics, sings and sometimes weep
All for the laughter she loved to hear
Though the shoppers poured with money
Never she remembered to collect a penny
And who ever knows she is Cinderella
The clown's daughter in a dirty frock
Never she shared the sandwich I offered
But asked me to laugh on her gestures
And continued dancing till every dark
When the angels came to cradle her sleeps
Never she kept the links of love
Still I prayed and wrote on her virtues
And never she knew laying silent on the road
The eyes once smiled were in tears forever
The clown's daughter has failed forever
To let those hearts unload their burden
