Auferstanden aus Ruinen
I think I have gotten ahold of myself again now
The beginning of this recovery
Was when a fellow poet wrote to me
That she hoped for me to be Poet of the Year somehow
I was unaware there was such a thing
But I must admit it has a nice ring
To it and I would be glad to do it
If anyone asked me to but wonder what one must do
I imagine one just writes poetry
If that is the case that sounds right for me
And as an added benefit this would keep me alive
As I would want to serve the whole year of 2005
It seems like something I could do...
