Transcendental Sonnet #1212:
New Moon Womb of Rain~*

Dies Faustus Chorus Mysticus

Wrapped within a womb of rain
I open my eyes again
At three in the afternoon
I slept as long as possible

Now I am strong to be useful
At the coming of the New Moon
Good omen rising in the sign
In which my love and I arose:

A blessing Silke yours and mine

Tonight will bloom the sweetest rose
Which opens fully only New Moon nights
A secret only you and I can see
The moon is dark but there are subtler lights:

Come Silke now and bloom for me
