Transcendental Sonnet #1209:
I Listen to Ramones and Count My Bones

I listen to Ramones and count my bones
No I don't because it doesn't matter
Don't count my bones just listen to Ramones
It will only matter when they shatter

In order to keep them from shattering
I exercise them to the nattering
Accompaniment of the weatherman
Who tells me I am in the frying pan
Headed for fire as the waves rise higher

Surf's up way up and it just won't go down
He is complaining and it is raining
It's just too wet out now to go to town
It is raining now he is explaining

I listen to Ramones and count my bones
