Full Version: A shooting star

“I am here”. Did my voice shiver a little?

Repeating questions,
As a routine, I kill time answering all
All those surplus queries on my well being
As once known and famous, as reigned on skies
A shooting star had many more admirers.

Once, I was that miracle, with speed and light
That scene which fascinated all eyes around
That light which shed more love on earth
And now its time to burn all those dreams

I too had dreams to reign there as for ever
Where you call, unseen heavens do exist
Where you expect all good souls do reach
Yes, I too had dreams of living an age.

I shed light burning myself, my dreams
Bound to the expectations on my existence.
Though my elements had been complaining
I had my duties performed to pleasures.

Now that the rates exceeded all limits
And left is nothing for colors to flow
I could see the holes, ready to swallow
My existence, as just another pastime.

My voice does shiver not with pain on end
The truth that hunts is my understanding
That, life is seasonal, and with time
I will be forgotten as many of others.

I will not forget you, dear Krishna.

I promise.

I never forget.

I send you love from far away, along with my respect and solidarity.

God bless and keep you in the palm of his hand, tonight and always.

I will see you in the sky.

Thank you, and my love to you.

Stay with us here a little longer; the sky will always be, and we will see you there, but let us see you here awhile, and read more of your poetry.

Every blessing, every joy, every good thing come to you.

Post tenebras lux: fiat lux.
