Detroit why are you so great?

When we landed on earth
After a hectic full day’s flying
You greeted us with welcome festoons
Strewn around on all the trees in autumn fall colours my love!

It was alright for a fort night my dear!
Nudity of trees made me to shy altogether my beloved!
Long drawn morns and brightened moons
Started rowing in the winter cools

First snow fall, really an amazing experience
With heaps of snow mounded on the walks
Leaving no space to my morning strolls
Community centers take the care of health

Malls strip malls sky way walks
All a wonder in marketing lots
Weekends attract sales in tags
Making purchases a joy full in trots

When I leave you during April next
Can I witness the meadows in greens
Great lake cities !!!! your heart is open
To visitors like me it has pinnacles in pixels

Can I get your adieu on dates
Once again I owe you a lot in lots
Tears may then roll down my eyes
With delight and despair singing the duets


How to wipe the tears my throb
I can’t make it with the cotton swabs I possess
Shall I ‘e to make it with blunt knife stabs
Hats off to you my michigans for the treat I assess
