~ He watched her quietly as she knelt next to the river. He had been watching her for weeks. The water flowing smoothly over her hands. He wanted to reach out and touch her, to make sure she was real, but he couldn't. He didn't have enough courage. He was afraid that she wouldn't be real and he then wouldn't have anything to watch anymore. He didn't want that to happen. She was his life. You could say he loved her. If you can call it love. He watched her every day and every night.
~ He watched as she slowly rose to her feet. Her long cream colored skirt billowing behind her in the slight breeze, her tight shirt streaching over her perfect breasts. He was memorized. He was so caught up in her he didn't realize that something was moving behind him. The small crunch of leaves didn't register to his ear. All he could focous on was her and the way she moved, the way she looked, and the way she spoke to the animals, like they were human as well. He was transfixed.
~ He didn't feel the hand on his shoulder. He didn't see the kife coming toward his back, all he could see was her. He watched her pick the pear from the tree and bring it to her lusious red lips. Just when she was going to bite into it it happened, Black. The shadow behind him shoved the kinfe through his heart. John Michael Thompson lay on the forest floor dead, with his blood pooling around him.
~ The shadow stepped from the trees and knelt down next to John. "Hello," it said with out making a sound, only his lips moving. It couldn't speak. Only move its lips. "You will be helping me become whole again." The shadow roughly rolled the body over and knelt over the face. "My you were a handsome one. It's a shame to loose such a pretty face. I guess it is good that I am here to fix that problem." The shadow mouthed to the limp form. It lead over the body of J.M. Thompson and a dark cloud of mist engulfed them.
~ The young woman watched the scene with mild intrest and went back to the pear in front of her face. She placed her teeth into it, small rivers of juices sliding down her chin as she took a bite.Just as she was finishing the pear the cloud of mist disappeared and the creature stood up. It discarded the pile of bones in front of it and turned toward the woman. Something was now different with it, it had a face, a handsome face, and a body, a nice fit body. What was once a shadow was now human. He
He walked over to the woman with ease.
~ "Hello, my pet." He moved his lips and bent his head down to her hands. He placed his teeth on the pear core and threw it aside with a toss of his head. "You did well today." He lifted his head and looked into her crystal clear blue eyes. His tounge flicked out and licked the trail of pear juice from her chin. "You are so beautiful."
~ The woman looked down at the new man and smiled. "Thank you Christopher," she said in a voice as sweet sounding as a harp. She lifted her hand and tilted his chin upward. "You look good," She whispered and placed a tender kiss onto his lips. Pulling back she said, "It's good to have you back, even if you cannot speak."
~ Christopher smiled and pulled her close. "I am glad to be back, JoAnna. I have missed you terribly." He quickly moved his mouth and kissed her passionatly.
~ She pulled herself closer and deepened the kiss, her arms wrapping around him tightly. After a full minute she pulled back and looked at his cream colored face. "How long do we have this time Dear?" She questioned.
~ He smiled softly. "The same as always love, until the full moon." He spoke without a sound. He nipped her neck lightly and gently pushed her toward the ground.
~ "I'm looking forward to our day," She cooed.
~ Christopher gently kissed her and slid his hands over her body as the sun rose into the sky.
~ If one person looked in the spot on everyday that there was a full moon they would see a heart warming couple making love on the banks of the Tyson River.
