sometimes life is pretty worthless
other sundays life is worth it
it depends on how you work it
it depends on who you worship

sometimes life can move so slow
and you don't know where to go
we'll probably never ever know
where we're going, and why so slow

sometimes lumps turn into cancer
that cuts the time to find the answers
sometimes sex turns into AIDS
a hefty price for getting laid

sometimes life is pretty worthless
other fridays life is worth it
it depends on how you work it
depends on how you fly the warship

where are we going, why so slow?
we'll probably never ever know
sometimes lumps turn into cancer
that cuts the time to find the answers

i love that your poems are so real

and truthful

and most of them are like a slap in the face

life is not a desert alone
but at times a dessert too
