i'm not sure if this topic is appropriate for the "politics adn world events" forum but i didn't know where else to put it, so anyway...

i was talking to this person the other day who said he used to be homeless. he said "if you've ever felt so alone that you wanna F**KING die that's what homelessness tends to feel like". does homeless have to be like this? is it like this for everybody? is there more than one type of homeless person? is there more than one type of homelessness? is homelessness detrimental or benefical from a broad standpoint?
