a no strings attached friend
you changed your thoughts
and now her broken heart is on the mend

She never was attached to you
and now that she knows the truth
you claim she's the one who has it wrong
just a poor simple youth

like a snowflake to earth
she's falling for you
friendship or not you it's yours to choose
and the thing you decide...you must persue

Hi kim, I really like the flow and rhyme scheme of your poem. You have a natural talent for both rhythm and rhyme. Sometimes people try too hard to force a rhyme. My overall impression though, is that I want to know some more concrete details. There is a lot of vagueness here, so for me, I have a harder time connecting. If you could describe this girl or describe the "You" with concrete, even tangible details, I think this poem would explode. That's just my thought, but you are the writer and have the complete poetic liscence.
