bearshare is old hat and loses my vote since they charge money for the adware- and spyware-free version of their product. Emule rocks the house. It's free, spyware- and adware-free, safe, and has fast downloads.

not true.want to know how to have the free version of bearshare with no adware.well you dont even have to crack pro or anything illegal.just install bearshare.go to start on your desktop(bottom lefT) and click run.when that opens type in msconfig and a box will pop up on the tab click start up and you see boxes on the left check-marked.find save now or something of thhat nature and uncheck the box.there you go spyware free as you said with fast downloads and biggest variety p2p out there.peace out
