Transcendental Sonnet #1159:
A Small Blue Butterfly

for Silke

Let now the dirt and dust and detritus
And all the folly of the impotent
Of the inadequate who vainly rage
Who never understand never relent
Until death drags them screaming from the stage
Let this unworthiness now fall from us

Now purified by love we rise anew

As verified in your eyes heaven blue
I see that patient hope is waiting still
Remaining when all else has flown away
A small blue butterfly upon the sill
To reassure us of a better day
That you and I will always be as one

The darkness bows before the dawning sun

Reminds me of Phillipians 4:13. This was a great, inspiring write +amigo. Really a beautiful bit of writing. It was passionate, and visual, and feeling. One of your finest my friend. Simply oozing of the highest caliber. I applaud you and stand in awe of you. You are truly a master wordsmith.

Semper Fi,
