Evan
yeah this is a piece of my poetry, its nothing spectacular i was drunk whilst writing it. if u like it ill post some others on here.

Ideas

A glass of wine,
Never tasted so fine,
It’s our time to shine,
As the party tricks we define.

In this time,
The music plays,
And the drums slay,
A nice old beat,
Not one to defeat.

A night of tales,
As the magicians full of pale,
A trail,
We leave.

On the grass,
The clouds so small,
A clear night,
Let’s not fight.

Truth revealed,
A shield,
Of promise,
And hate,
I could not state.

Fill the glass,
As the hours pass,
Distraught,
I think of you,
The truth,
So blue.

Friends we are,
It is not far,
Those feelings within,
Try to begin.

As I talk to my foes,
How could they tell?
Missing you within,

I try to begin.

As the alcohol fills the air,
I share,
My feelings for you,
A drink or two.

A love lost,
For a loved one,
A moment so high,
Not even god himself,
Could bring you down,
In a state of ecstasy.

I try to begin.

Try to begin for you,
For you.
Evan
heres another, my views on love, peace and empathy.

Love, peace and Empathy.

I cannot begin to imagine,
How love works,
How it is kind,
Cruel,
And can destroy a single being in moments.

True love is not demanding,
Yet un-consented
Truthful and faithful
Until death do us part.

I love you,
You are my everything,
Nothing else matters,
When I am with you,

I thought it was forever,
Eternal,
Oh how wrong I was,
You destroyed me,
I cannot push on,
I’m closing the blinds,
This eternal fate.

Peace,
A foundation,
Full of love,
And empathy,
Peaceful,
Under the moonlight tonight.

Peace throughout,
Throughout this war torn land,
We will not judge,
Nor will we fight,
This is only how peace,
Will,
Overcome,
The dark shadows,
Cast down on this land.

Without fear,
The fear of living,
The fear of forces we can not imagine,
There would be peace,
Peace within.

Empathy,
Reflections of our state of life,
Merely a reflection of our state of mind,
Casting our soul,
Within.

Empathy,
My sorrow,
My state of mind,
A greater understanding,
Of the human being,
Within.

My empathy,
My soul,
Cries out for lust,
Love,
And redemption
Evan..
Reflections

Shattered,
Those reflections,
Reflections of a fragile mind.

Reflections torn,
Torn from my,
My state of mind.

My state of mind,
Revoked,
Revoked into a state of fear.

How could you see,
Those reflections,
Reflections of a lost soul,
Reaching for help,
Help me, I cannot see.

Blind, I am
To conventual perceptions,
Perceptions that over come,
Overcome morals.

Oh how blind you were,
You could not see,
That lost soul,
Inside of me.

Evan..
Boy in the corner

He cried,
In that corner he pried,
Trying to,
Stay alive

His shadow,
Not seen,
Heard,
By any.

A voice of recognition,
Was all he desired,
As he cried,
Until he drew tired.

He lay in the corner,
Still and lifeless,

as
The blood stained blade,
Fell from his hand,

He said to himself,
You never would understand.

Evan..
I miss you

I miss you,
More than words can express,
In my heart,
Is where you sleep.

A walk in the park,
In the lonely dark,
Next to me you would stand,
But your gone,
Gone.

You asked me,
Why don’t you want to see me,
You’d never know,
It hurt,
Hurt to see you.

As the tears flow,
The moments we shared,
All the special things,
Special things,
Seen better days.

What I wouldn’t give,
To see you again,

As you lied there,
Your last words,
Its ok,
It’s not the end of the world.

As the tears flow.

Evan..
hey thanks tracy im a big fan of your poetry very expressive =) ok i will do.
here's one, was about after i broke up with my gf...err lots of mixed emotions. Also a pleasant one about how beautiful the world can be.

The rising Sun

Early morning,
The rising sun,
It’s just begun.

Lying there,
Just staring,
In despair.

I could not lie,
To myself,
Anymore.

I was helpless,
How could I tell?
I’d surely go to hell.

I thought it could work,
But I was scared,
I ran,
I ran from my heart.

Complete silence,
Like a plague,
Filling the air.

That moment,
I showed no remorse,
The moment,
I told you.

Hurting another,
Is by far,
Worse than,
Being hurt yourself.

She cried,
The jewellery I gave her,
Turned to me,
Well what was this?

I stuttered,
Merely a token,
Of my friendship,
To you.

Evan..
How beautiful the world can be

You,
You remind me,
How beautiful the world can be.

Your eyes,
Your smile,
Your perpetual exile,
How beautiful the world can be.

When the moon hits the water,
And your eyes glimmer,
How beautiful the world can be.

You are unique,
Throughout this eternal rat race,
Changing,
Unique you are.
How beautiful the world can be.

I fell into your arms,
As you kissed my lips,
Under the sunlight,
On a golden beach,
How beautiful the world can be.

When it’s just me and you,
And nothing else matters,
And it never should,
How beautiful the world can be.

When the kids play,
And the clowns laugh,
How beautiful the world can be.

When the world is at peace,
And all is calm,
Like a stream flowing through a jungle.

How beautiful the world will be….”when”

Evan..
hehe awesome, as did i.

i wrote addicted when i was just getting into poetry, was in a craze hehe =P
and ive also got clear here as well, it has a few different meanings take it as you want.

Addicted:

Addictions,
Occurring,
Crazing,
And killing those who fall victim.

I’m addicted,
Addicted to poetry,
It’s such a release,
Like a rush of blood to my head

It’s my fix,
Cocaine to my brain,
It’s a shot,
Addicted.

Like anything,
If I do not get it,
I cannot cope,

I will do anything,
To get what I want
Anything,
That’s addiction.

Addictions,
With time,
Will be dissolved,
Dissolved into another part of our minds,
Eventually forgotten,
It only takes willpower.

But my addiction,
I will never live down,
For it helps me,
Like tobacco helps a smoker.

addiction

Evan..
Clear

Clear,
It’s to clear to me,
That way I need to be,

I thought it was fate,
Clear,
Like water,
My blood runs.

As I sit,
Take a trip,
Ride with me,
It’s clear,

Like an early morning,
The sun rises,
Showing no remorse,
For those lost,
Clear

A blind sense,
Of control,
Not seeing,
Yet believing,
Clear

As u take me,
Into your heart,
It’s clear,
And I will not fear,

Clear,
Like the razorblade,
You ripped through my heart,
Never to start again,
It’s clear.
Oh so clear.
