Joined at the Heart
for Silke
Silke we thank each other for waiting
But there is no need
For you and I are always relating
As one heart indeed
We are intimate in every way
Dreaming of each other every night
Thinking of each other every day
By sunlight moonlight or by starlight
We shine for each other one heart warms
The other during the coldest storms
One cannot be kept from the other apart
No matter how hard anybody may try
Our love lives forever and can never die
Love knows no distance to those joined at the heart
