I met a girl a year ago,
with deep red hair
and eyes so fair...
but I digress, you know.

A thief she was (or so it seemed)
stealing the hearts of all us guys,
coming back to invade our dreams
and teasing us with lovely eyes.

Anyway I have chattered on.
I bet you're wond'ring what's the point.
A year has passed, not seeming long;
We still hang around this old joint

just waiting I guess, for our hearts,
maybe our dreams, to return, and
with some crafty acts on our part
