Ghost
I would want to be a ghost,
unseen, untouched,
and forever drift,
blessed to have the gift
of whispering your name
in the limitless confines
of my crying soul.
I would want to be a ghost,
and in the silent winds
I’d hide,
floating by your side
for days of seven,
rather than to enter Heaven,
without you.
For I am never alone,
and we are never apart
with you in my heart.

This feels ghostly, which is an accomplishment in itself! Nice poem, well structured to make the words flow. Oooooooooo.......

I came at last to this one of your three submissions, all of which made the same point. But this is the one I'm going to commend. Very good. Now I'm going to read it again before I move up the page to see what 666 has to offer.
