This is a good one, my dear friend; you do some fascinating things with rhyme here which are very effective.
The poem is fresh, and not predictable. Very nicely done, and evocative of intriguing imagery and ideas.

Those lines are wonderful! I can certainly relate to them. I have spent a great deal of time in "the hills of shy," and I have had my song rehearsed but left unsung so many times.
But we are singing our songs now.

itsinhiseyes, yes it is that hattersley, near hyde, i worked there about 1980, in the precinct, it was the spar opposite the co-op. do you know the area?

The avatar is suposed the green man, i don't know if know the story, i will tell you anyway, its about a man who drank from the fountain of eternal life and he now roams the earth still alive to this day.
Really? Well I hope I don't run into him on a dark night. Imagine. Looking like that and living forever.
