that girl
Tempered bed
provides flat hugs
that keep the dreams
tucked in its layers

Morning arrives
with sunlight's tap
at the eyes
which open softly

A minute of rest
before daily function
restocks the images
of yesterday's contents

One full body stretch
Releases the tension
that quietly kneels
within all organs

The alarm's cry
to the defensive ears
stings the heart
and causes frustration

A slap at snooze
Slumbers the warning
which reactivates
in ten minutes

The folding of eyes
seems like an instant
before alarm exclaims
and interupts the peace

I love the originality of this. Especially as I have only just gone through this very process prior to reading this post. I am especially bad at getting up in the mornings.
