Shattered Heart

Dreams That Once Brought A Smile
Have Now Brought Tears Instead
You Know That Its True What I Say
It Was Not Suppose To Turn Out This Way.

I Don't Remember When It Occurred
Seems In My Mind To Be Blurred
But I Know That It Happened Like That
You Lied Right There Where I Sat.

Cast My Feelings Aside On The Ground
Shattered Heart Pieces Is All That I Found
All Those Tears That I Cried Over You
Did Not Change A Thing Not By You.

I Had To Face That I Was Now All Alone
Your True Feelings Had Finally Been Shown
So Now You Can Go On Your Way
I No Longer Want You To Stay.

Because You Have Done Me Wrong
I Am Glad You Are Now Gone
I Will Make For Myself And A New Beginning
Only This Time Around I Will Be Winning.

Someone told me once
that when a broken bone is set to heal,
the healed break grows to be more strong than the bone surrounding it.

Too bad our hearts aren't made of bone.
