I mouthed 3 words to him
and he said them back
I told him i loved him
and he told me back
I thought i meant it
but i wasn't sure
I knew he meant it
and with all his heart
I now know i meant it
with all of mine
After he told me
he held me close
My eyes began to burn
as the tears poured out
He asked me if i was ok
and i replied no
He held me closer
and asked me what was wrong
I leaned back and wiped my eyes
i smiled at him, and then replied
"I've just wanted to hear you say that for so long"
He smiled at me and kissed me sweetly
And then we danced
and we held each other
and we'll never let go

It seems very sweet and sad.

This poem, whom ever you are, is the most exquisite piece of inky pain I could never ratify, yet feel empathy towards! Cages are such horrible freedoms where doors behold their own keys within. But to spin with burglars who feel safe, rather than exercising free wills only true key, to me and only me, is a very ugly and dishonest thing to do......and by both of your dancing thieves here!
May I kick it down some more for you?
Here's a tear for your pain, sweet wonder...tick!
loved it!
Respect Jasper
PS: I hope this what you wanted here, as I've brought respect to this cage once again, and I'll go on never minding anyway!

This would make an awesome introduction to a hip hop tune. To anyone who knows the music of Common, just imagine. No? Well how about Lauren Hill?
