Chain Saw Massacre
Twas sunny
And t' garden demon called me t' old shed
“Take out thy tools and prune the trees”
He very firmly said
So in I went, strapped tool belt on
Grabbed petrol and chain saw
But because me 'ands were full
I had to kick shut t 'old shed door
Now t' demon took offence to this
And made a plan for later
He worked out how much havoc to cause
On his hellish calculator
By time I'd filled the saw wit' fuel
Some clouds in t' sky 'd appeared
But that small thing for me tw' no prob
'Cos of nothing I was feared
I hadn't noticed big black cloud
Appeared o'er head o' me
I were too involved in a wheelie
With me chain saw up a tree
Then with a crack the lightening struck
Caught tip o' t' saw and flashed
I felt like I were break dancing
As to the floor I crashed
Poor tree had suffered likewise
For in t' fall I'd sawed right through
Now in my treeless garden
The words were loud and blue
In t' background demon laughed out loud
He couldn't hold his noise
And missis shouted hard from t' house
You're just like naughty boys
Clean up that mess the both o' you
And YOU get back in t' shed
He's not allowed to play w' demons
Knowing him he'll finish up dead
The moral of this story is
And I hope you listen well
When gardening with a chain saw
Watch out for fiends from hell
And treat your shed with full respect
No kicking in o' t' door
Plus keep a watch on t' weather
For fear it should turn poor
Best advice, though, I can give
Is on the pruning day
Afore you take a step outside
Drop to your knees and pray
