The mind is free to travel where the body cannot

yet, the minds acceptance
of the bodys limitation
conceieves the birth of freedom

but in the acceptance of limitations.

but what of this 'body' of knowledge
this sole life has raised and fed?

what travels would become such a heavy encumberance?

the memories, veiled, overlay the 'wakened day,
and the life, lived and past,
edges out the newness of the dawn.

where then shall the body step,
without bringing forth the path abandoned?

where then is the new day,
enlightening the shadows of missteps past?
