Beauty Lost
Out in the barn she lays,
Her body perfectly still,
This was bound to happen,
Failing of pure will.

The cock of a hammer,
The shifting of the shell,
A little bit of pressure,
Things went so well.

Dark end of days,
She knew no pain,
Her voice now quite,
Only the sound of rain.

She could have stopped it,
She could have not went,
She could have made peace,
And came to repent.

No authorities to call,
Nobody will scoff.
I told her I loved her.
But she shouldn't have pissed me off!!!

Disturbing, but the imagery is nice and clear. Nicely done.

Should "quite" be "quiet"?
