Hand in Hand

Hand in hand and on we go.
Through the winters, ice and snow,
springtime, autumns, summer too
I will never desert you.
I am subborn, that you know.
You can never make me go,
Others come and others go.
Hand in hand through life's sweet glow.

Hey Hey
I have to hand it to you, that's very sweet. Typical Silke loveliness.

Wonderful reassurance after a weekend of missing you; hand in hand sounds good to me, just how I want to be, and be with you.

I love that stubbornness, as well! That's what's wanted in all this madness which we face: stubbornness. I need more of that myself... Hey Hey tells me I have a certain "cryptic confidence" (what a felicitous phrase!)... maybe I am stubborn too. In any case, I mustn't let the cruel ones get me down; we mustn't, either of us. We will be stubborn together, in the same direction; stubbornness squared, as it were: we should be quite unstoppable!

We make a pretty good team, you and me. I'm your Samwise, and I'll never leave your side. You can count on me.

I do love this poem, and I am so happy to find it here.
