Silkchen, this is really beautiful!
This is that poem you wrote for Hey Hey, as I recall; I love it as a thing-in-itself, but it is illuminated in an exegetical manner with this image.
The three things I like best about the image are the use of that deep, rich blue, the grace and expression of the seated figure, and, especially, the fog effect you achieve on what looks like steps at her feet.
I only wish the images on the site here were bigger! I clicked on it, but still I wish it were larger; either that or I wish my new spectacles were ready today rather than tomorrow (I HOPE they will be ready tomorrow). But I still could see how skillfully the image has been created, and that fog effect I find truly fascinating; I can't imagine how you do such things. That blue color is just like the waterpot of the Samaritan woman in this window I was looking at in church this morning; I have always thought that was the most beautiful blue. If I remember correctly from painting classes, I think it's Ultramarine, or Outremer, or something like that.
I was in church to see Teddy as the head altar server, and I was terribly proud of him. Everyone was glad to see me, and my dear old Godfather, Pastor Geisler, recognized me from the back on his way down to Communion and stopped to greet me. He must have had me spotted beforehand. It was very nice to be there; I felt like Lazarus, come back from the dead. I was busy afterward explaining what "Transcendental Sonnets" were to lots of curious people who hadn't seen me much for the past two years.
I love all your artwork so much, my beautiful butterfly bride. This is another beautiful synthesis of word and image. I am so proud of you.
I am so happy to see you posting and sharing these beautiful creations on these pages. You bring light, hope, and civility to what has been a cruel and unloving place far too often, far too long. I think things are getting better; at least they are better for me when I see the works of your talented hands hereabouts.
I love you, Mausi. That's sweet you had a dream about getting the book in the mail. It shouldn't be very long now at all until you do, and I know you'll be pleased. It sure has a nice cover, done by my favorite artist in all the whole wide world.
I hope I can write something good for you today. I will look forward so much to talking with you again um Mitternacht, that magic hour when our souls touch...
...but then, our souls are always touching, for they are one.
Remember, honey: we're going to get through all of this, and you're going to get well. I mean to take good care of you, my dearest darling little girl,
Always
Always
Always

Sike, I love your Poe-Art here. And as my per, Jasper Poe-Art, also does much of this same unpublished beauty, it's beautiful to find it here at Mind-Brain: this site is unfolding to be very at one with this I called me.
And just so both you and steven now:
"I only always know, and always only ever speak just one language, which I am always as dumb as dog poo with both it and others loves for whatever also!
But that doesn't mean I came here giftless, as I always care when I give whatevers mine to anyone in anyones language, and in whatever form I love too"!
Definition: Gift...to offer, in any form nor matter as long as its in just one purest form: intentions!
Gift + Virtue, is the only +/-Virtue worth giving of all I's!
Oh, and I'm never affraid to say "I love you both", and do so here without knowing squat about anything less than just both you I-words of L-matters!
Love Jasper

How can I forget this one, as it still sits as the background on my computer desktop.
Safe Journey.
