Autumn Memories
Green fades and changes
Now golden yellow and red
Falling, drifting to the ground
in colorful waves
Guided by the wind, now chilled just slightly
Frost covered windows
Visible breath
Hot chocolate mornings
Cuddles under warm blankets
Sitting before cheerful fires
Ghouls and goblins abound
Pumpkin orange and hay bale browns
Apple pie and smells of cinnamon

Usually, I'd have seen your poem's title and thought "Yet another autumn poem". But I read it and then realised how you had captured the reality. You see, for the first time this year, my wife just got out the box to make the hot chocolate! I've just hinted to her about the apple pie! And I keep looking over my shoulder for the goblins! Nice poem Michelle.
