I
A word used so many times
every single day
all the meanings and rymes
and stories it can combine

Love
A word opposite to hate
a strong emotion
the concludes or begins
so many stories and rhymes

You
A word not unfamiliar to any one
a symbol of what isn't myself
endless forms and uses
a staple in any story or rhyme

I Love You
The very different words
apart, have to connection to the other two
three words i dread and despise most
but only together

You, I Love
unless I hear YOU utter these words
with the intent of sharing your LOVE
I will let YOU say them
and I will listen to YOU tell me I LOVE YOU
time and time again

"...three words I dread and despise most..."

this passage is intriguingly haunting
...it begs for elaboration,
...and expiation?
