floating to green day and sonic youth tunes
trippin' on c's and humongous balloons
turn up the music, the speakerboxxx blows
you can't get this hyped watching spike tv shows
Eric's trip's my trip as my trip is his
if the music's not worth it then what the f**k is?
a bad trip is just like an NFG song
they're both gonna suck and flow totally wrong
the pumpkins are playing
i get what they're saying
my body starts swaying
back and forth, side to side
floating on bad brains, i'm mucked to punk rock
the pill poppin' music bumps all through the block
eric's trip's my trip as my trip is his
i can rest easy knowing just what music is

I really love this one, and I can relate; I am listening, right at this very moment, to T. S. O. L., to the "Divided We Stand" album. My all-time favorite song from this album or just about any other is the song "Sedatives" (to which I can relate, based on my own experience). I sing along! I also really like "Serious," "f**k you, Tough Guy," "American," all of them really on that album. I really like Murder by Death, too.
I really do like this poem a lot. Did you see all that discussion which your other recent post generated? Yowza!
In any case, I send you my greetings in solidarity. Time for a Valium!

A poem that stands out from the crowd. Mucked here in the UK is something that old folkes and kids have done in their pants. What does it mean in Neverland? Yes, really great poem.

T.S.O.L. is awesome. I did see all of the discussion and that was pretty cool. I'm happy something i wrote could generate that type of discussion. Hey Hey, to be mucked is to be spun. You know, like the movie about meth. I don't think the word muck is really used though. I think that was an inside thing we made up in 9th grade. Anyways, thanks for reading peeps.

I wrote a poem called "Mucking About With a Long Garden Hose." I like the word "muck" in all its multifoliate manifestations; it's like the thinking man's "f**k"... sometimes...

You did, and it was great! Yes mucking about - on the river - song from the 60's. My wife is a nurse who sometimes works in nursing homes for old folkes. In Yorkshire it is quite common for an old person to have "mucked" their pants. But they eat a lot of cabbage here, you know. It'll happened to us all eventually, I suppose. Some sooner than others! Help!
Spun to punk rock? I'll have to buy a better dictionary! Still a great poem though.
