Bernard Loves Rainbows Too
for my wife Silke and my friend Bernard
There appeared a rainbow
The divine autograph
Outside Bernard's window
He took a photograph
And just like me like you
Bernard loves rainbows too
He sent it to you and I hope that he
Having described it and how big it was
Will remember now to send it to me
I trust people who love rainbows because
They seem to understand the relevance
Of signs and wonders of lights in the sky
People like that live right up till they die
And never sink into irrelevance
