Comes Once
Love comes once.
Love's so immense.
My heart would bounce
in your presence.
Yet, I can’t fight my fate.
I was born early
or maybe too late.
Maybe I am a curse,
a mistake of history,
a glitch of humanity.
Love comes once.
Our hearts bounce.
Love's real; sincere,
so very tangible.
But it seems …
so expendable.
