Transcendental Sonnet #1041:
Kiss of Vengeance
Now as the damned fools sleep who make me weep
I practice my dark craft and spread my wings
Now in the autumn moon the raven sings
I keep the night-watch silently I see
Into your hearts into your destiny
You laugh I weep: but now you are asleep
Yet I would not sleep soundly in my bed
If I were you tonight O heedless head
O heedless heart: you laughed but you shall weep
I will never forget never forgive
I will see you regret it as I live
What you have done to one I love and me
A curse I lay and seal it with a kiss
Of vengeance: this I vow... and only this

Dare I say inspiring?
I do.

This has perhaps the most Shakespearean flavour of the sonnets you have created, pumped full of dark energy and vengeance. You are right to be angry, but please do not wear yourself out with fury, Steven. The one who hurts you is not worth it.

As a piece of sonneterical art - wondrous. The best ever.
As a piece of wishful thinking - i know where you're coming from.
As the two connected - one inspired the other. The best ever. Ironical or what?
