Transcendental Sonnet #1040:
The First to Be
for Silke in the moonlight
Away with it all: away away away
I dismiss the angry vulgar and unkind
The rubbish and the detritus of this day
Under the rising moon I leave it behind
And here in this moon-bathed silence I will stay
As healing flows into my body my mind
My spirit: the moon sings and I can hear it
No one can hurt me here in the moonlight now
I draw strength from the moon I am empowered
Safe within this circle which will not allow
That anger and hatred which have devoured
So many before: not me! Not anymore!
Hear cruel ones who would do your worst to me:
You battle in vain against the first to be

Just remember, Steven, banishing the veangeful is as easy as pressing the delete button. Do not let anger consume you.
On the other hand, I am glad that you are able to vent through poetic means. Be healthy and happy, and give my love to Silke.
~Much Love~

Steven
I am in the middle of a poem that revolves around the moon. Why then do I come to this sonnet of yours, and it revolves around the moon?
Beautiful.
