What I write isn't what it seems,
People call it poetry,
I don't think of it that way,
To me it's a story.
Some of my stories are long,
Some very quick to the point,
Some influenced by the horrors of life,
Some influenced by the joint.
Every one of them has a meaning,
Not to be dissected but taken as whole
Some are just headlines in a much bigger plan
Some are meant to move your soul.
I ask only for a short span of time,
To make my plea
It's the span of time it takes you to read it,
Then to ask yourself if you can see
The picture woven in words
My words but the pictures came from you
Do you now see what I meant ?
The message within is true.
Short stories akin to fables
Fables akin to folklore
Respect life in its entirity
The key to end this war.

Something tells me that people are too pig-headed to embrace such eloquently-spoken ideas. Wonderful work, -J-. It always touches me.

Hey Hey
A poem to give insights into your poetry. Or should I say, story. Yes! How novel. More please.
