Among a thousand others

Although standing in the middle of a crowded room
No-one sees
No-one hears

Although standing among a thousand others
No-one wants to see
No-one wants to hear

Although screaming from the top of her lungs
Everyone turns away
Everyone close their eyes

All sounds die away
All hope dies slowly
Inside of herself
She flows into the embrace of Death
Although standing among a thousand others

There is tremendous emotion behind this piece. It is structured just so to strike a chord. Very nice work!

Hey Hey
I like this so much and I fully understand the feelings.

This reminds me of when I go places, like that coffeehouse last night, and they don't see me for some reason, and I feel invisible. Depersonalization, dissociation, whatever the term is for it, I feel this way every now and then, both in particular and in general.

In any case, you are always in the foreground of my heart and mind. I often feel as if we are the only two people (or aliens) in the whole world (or universe). You are always present to me.

I love you.

What a tormented write, my friend.
For one I have lived in, for most of my life.
Compassion and sympathy stirs and is sent your way.

Blessed Be! My Goddess of Heart.
