I'm new here. Just like to try this for some comment. Written following an extraordinary night of passion which was left hanging in the air. In all the excitement a window was broken. She was scared of her feelings and didn't want to swap telephone numbers. It was love, we both knew it but it was a love which dare not speak its name. I wrote this and delivered it through her letter box the next evening. That was a year ago and it worked. We are still together. Our seperate divorces are in progress.

Got an itch
I need to scratch

Saturday night

flicked the switch
Struck a match
Thought I’d made the perfect catch

But no

there’s a hitch
attached

Cus’ this b*tch
Won’t agree
For her snitch to be snatched

But listen to me baby
And listen to me good
I know you think you shouldn’t
But I really think you should

This feeling is authentic
Sincerely, I mean it, I meant it
Not some hit up on you bullshit that I made up and invented
It’s genuine, it’s bona fide
It’s true and believable
It cannot be prevented and it
Cannot be denied

So

Relax, don’t detach
leave your door off it’s latch
flip the hitch from your hatch
make the pitch take the catch
I’ve got an itch, needs a scratch
Like your window needs a patch
And I mean this Alex
I mean it very much
you’re the very very very
very best of the batch

oh, and by the way,
there’s something else I have to say
there’s a ps attached
we’re so F**KING well matched
we’re like birds of a feather
we should act you and I
we should be together

so put some action
on this mutual attraction
slip the clutch
get a grip, get some traction
let’s trip
get in touch
here’s my number
don’t slide or let it slip
let it roll let it rock
let it ride let it rip.

if you have an itch
that might need a scratch
let me be the one
to put a thistle in your thatch
if you agree with me that
we make a good match
let me be the guy who puts his
shnizzle in your snatch

text me

Hey Hey
This is great! Clever. A tortuous route but finally getting to the destination.
