SIR FRANCIS BACON: - There are few commonly known people who have as much mystery attached to them. This is a man who acted as a God, though some did say he was the Devil, as his foes brought him down. Some of the things he claims or others claimed for him are false or plagiarized. I think he was one of the greatest public figures of all time. Public figures seldom live up to their billing upon close scrutiny and this is one example where the exception proves the norm.

His brother may not have been his real full brother but that is because Francis may have been the illegitimate son of the great Queen Elizabeth whose sister Mary may also have borne a child who was killed or died and yet another became the King bearing that child’s name. Francis’ brother and John Dee were probably part of something we could call MI6 or the CIA today and Francis as Star Chamber head was in fact more powerful than King James. If that isn’t confusing enough, there is the intrigue as to whether he was part of a group who had full knowledge of the Americas for a long time (In the Stuart family who were fighting others as the Jacobins throughout much of Europe for a long time.). Add to that the situation regarding Shakespeare and his pretense at being the alchemist his namesake Roger had been centuries before, and you get more than one book’s worth of stuff to wade through. Allow me to quote something and then get back to my own researches and opinions about some or all of these things in brief. I have written many books that end up dealing with these people even though I started out thinking they were not so involved.

“The brethren of the Rosy Cross, also known as the Rosicrucians, were one of the sub rosa or underground societies that existed during this time. It was a very important principle among these free thinkers that they would never give up the secrets of their society, even if their life was endangered as a result. A member of the Rosy Cross once stated:

‘We wrap ourselves in mystery in order to avoid the censure and violent importunity of those who don't regard us as philosophers, but wanting in common prudence even though we employ our knowledge to some worldly use and profit.’

A great affinity existed between the Rosy Cross and the Order of Freemasons, their main difference being that the Rosy Cross was a secret society while the Freemasons were a society with secrets. English Freemasonry was revived and openly tolerated under the reign of King James, primarily due to Francis Bacon's influence on the king.

Since Bacon and his most intimate friends were part of a network of Rosicrucians, Freemasons and Illuminati, he was able to encourage the distribution of their knowledge in other countries as well as throughout England. Masonic symbology appeared in many of Bacon's published works, and it is especially significant that the 1623 Shakespeare folio contains Masonic symbols and cryptic messages.

The Catholic Church, acting as a front for the politics of the Vatican, had many spies in England whose missions were to meddle in Protestant affairs and undermine the ruling Protestant monarchy. In fact, a letter once left on Queen Elizabeth's pillow warned her that continued opposition to Rome would result in the death of any child she might bear, and this may have persuaded her to retain her public image of the Virgin Queen indefinitely. In case that wasn't a direct enough attack on Elizabeth, the Pope even openly declared in a letter:

‘Whosoever sends her [meaning Elizabeth] out of the world would be doing God a service so glorious a work.’

In 1592, the French King Henry IV, who had facilitated English schemes against the Pope, woke up one morning to find the heads of five of his illegitimate sons nestled against him in his bed. Henry then publicly denounced Protestantism and converted to Catholicism.

As Machiavelli once said: ‘There is generally but a short interval between the prison and the graves of princes.’” (1)

In research for a book on Shakespeare and Bacon as well as Jonson and other fathers of the Age of Enlightenment I discovered that Bacon had published the first five plays of Shakespeare. He put an encrypted message in it, that he figured someone would eventually decode and give him credit for having written Shakespeare. It was a wild time trying to grasp the nature of Bacon as well as his very public persona. Some books had him being knighted as much as ten years apart from each other. I can not say if he was a Stuart son of Elizabeth for sure and I suspect James the King was indeed not a Stuart by blood. Some think he was a baby taken to replace the dead son of Mary that was found in a passageway off her bedroom in the 19th Century. Bacon’s utopian writings are based on knowledge of the Incan system of social governance and I do indeed think his financial involvements in the Americas were based on long term inside information.

Consider this; it is now well known that the Norse were in America at the beginning of his millennium – we still argue about the extent of this knowledge and I certainly think it was long before this that huge monopolies existed amongst the BEES. I will give you another excerpt relating to Benjaminites in Iberia and leave it at that, because all of history and the truth thereof, which I try to capture, is involved.

“In Spain, ‘...these fleets of Tarshish were Semitic/Phoenician in Nature’ (Lost Ten Tribes...Found, Collins, p.79). So this Tarshish in western Spain cannot mean the Japthetic Tarshish of Genesis 10:4. And ‘...in the word Tharshish identifies this navy with one of the clans of the Israelite tribe of Benjamin, which was named 'Tharshish' (1 Chronicles 7:10)... Dr. Barry Fell observed that the language of Tartessus/Tarshish in ancient Spain was 'no more than a dialectal variant of Phoenician’ (ibid, p.79). So the Tarshish in the west in Spain were the Israelites, primarily of the Tribe of Benjamin

But it appears that in the Biblical references concerning the 'ships of Tarshish', they went to a far eastern place called Tarshish, whose father was called "Javan" i.e. "Japan." (Gen 10:4).

Looking at 1 Kings 10:22, 2 Chronicles 9:21, and 2 Chronicles 20:36 we can reasonably conclude that Solomon had a navy whose home port was Ezion-Geber on the north shore of the Gulf of Aqabah, which provided commercial access into the Red Sea, that his ships went to Tarshish, and that every three years this navy returned to Israel with ‘gold and silver, ivory and apes, and peacocks.’ It does not take three years to sail from Palestine to Spain. This had to be another far away place called "Tarshish."

The Jewish general and historian Josephus confirms that Solomon had many ships that lay upon the Sea of Tarsus which carried all sorts of merchandise into the remotest nations, and that these goods were sold for gold, silver, ivory, Ethiopians, and apes; and that the return journey took three years.” (2)

Bacon was able to carry on his predilection for young Welsh boys as bedfellows to the disgust of his publicly thought to be mother and many others. He often seemed at odds with Elizabeth I in an outward or public veneer but he and his brother were always involved in secrets and spying. His financial improprieties and frequent indebtedness and other deals speak to his real nature more than many things that make his name seem positive such as the Utopian themes he wrote about. Spedding has shown some things Bacon is credited with writing were not in fact written by him and I think he was a supreme power-monger and outright snake in the grass.
