Transcendental Sonnet #1024:
This Autumnal Equinox of Love
for Silke
This is our equal night autumnal equinox of love
The wheel of karma turns the darkness coupling with the light
The yin and yang in equipoise the sky in balance now
I hear you calling me sweet Silke hear your voice somehow
The wind is blowing to your breath your heartbeat in the sky
I see you shine in every star and I need not ask why
Because I know down here below that this is magic night
This moment is for us my love our future beckons bright
Autumnal equinox my love and it belongs to you
To me to us to lovers all tonight when dreams come true
Tonight I hold you in my arms as your rose blooms for me
If only in my dreams my love from far across the sea
The night is sighing with our lungs pulses the rhythm of
Our throbbing hearts in this autumnal equinox of love

A precious bit of poetry that Silke is sure to love. This poem is quite visual, as are most, but this one really grabs me by my tired eyeballs and paints an extraordinary picture. You are a true artist, my friend. This bit drips of heartwarming emotion that is bound to wrap her up in love's arms tonight stretched across the sea...and the heavens. Your posts are always a treat +Goofball. God be with you, and also with her.

Thanks so much, Big K; your opinion really does mean a lot to me. I'm so glad you're a poetry moderator now. I appreciate you doing it, given how busy you are. Everyone here values your opinion and your supportive attitude as I do, and we are all grateful to you.
I am happy to be able to tell you that, yes, Silke does like this sonnet. Actually, she said it was my best one ever, which makes me really happy.
God be with you and those you love too, my dear friend. It's always good to hear from you.

Thanks +Goofball, for your support. I am trying to get here when I can to offer my support to everyone. I am not sure what the responsibility of Moderator entails. I questioned Shawn several times in my PM replies to him but he has never replied back to me. I just try to make sure I am giving support whenever and wherever I can here and keep the peace. Thank God for Aiyana, too. She is extraordinary, and a true inspiration. I feel fortunate to have her presence here helping me. If I am correct we are both moderating here? I think that is a positive approach and one she certainly is competitive and deserves even more than I do (in my mind). She is a rock here.
Take care and thanks.

The equinox of love so professionally executed my friend.
It's hard to be able to find new ways of expressing my admiration for your good self and Silke here on the poetry board, but yet again you have dipped into the top hat of emotion and pulled yet another magical stroll down lovers lane with the pictures your poetry release in the mind of the reader.
As our mutual friend Kevin so rightly puts it.
Namaste

Dear Steven
It is hard to find fresh complimentary words to use on such profound works such as this, when most have been used throughout your immense portfolio of sonnets. Please just accept my meagre attempt to congratulate you on this beautiful sonnet.
