Hit Delete
(Writer's block....)
Write a few words
And then hit delete
Always to you
Though never complete.

Dear Silke
I know the feeling well. I never hit delete. I hit always hit save...... and my hard disk is filling up with files of one liners! Maybe one day I will find the time to look at them again. Or maybe my computer will crash and they will all be erased!
But why talk of writer's block? Writer's rest is a better phrase. More rest needed and the words will come. I am very sure. And we certainly need to see more of your beautiful words!

I, too, understand the frustration of writer's block. You are not alone!! But I hope you can overcome it soon! Your poems light up the board.

Hi honey...
Well, all I know is I'm always really happy to see anything you've written, and I'm really enjoying your book, "Thoughts...um Mitternacht...For Steven"! I love that book; it's my favorite book of all!
Thank you with all my heart for that, and for everything.
...Speaking of completion, you make me feel complete, in every way.
Now, at the risk of blowing a big surprise--and you know how I can't keep a secret--I just thought this might be a good place to tell you, having just read this, that I have something really nice in mind for you, which will make you very happy, I believe. A present!
Now I mustn't say any more...
Don't let me ruin this surprise, but I'm really excited about something I have in mind for you, and you won't have to wait too awfully long to find out what it is. I know you will like it. I just HAVE to keep it a secret, though, and I'm terrible at things like that. Just believe me, it's a good thing.
I love you!
(I bet there are a few people hereabouts who wish I'd get writer's block and shut up for a while, eh? I hope people don't get sick of sonnets... I'd just like to see if I could get good at 'em; that's why I write so many, I think. And, of course, they are all for you, so that's why I want to get good at 'em. Oh well, I'm trying. I think I'll write some more of them today. *~Amin mela ile~*)
By the way, I listened to "Die Schwarze Katze," and you were right! It's really scary! That cat really yowls a lot, too (I hope he wasn't as upset in real life as he sounded in his role).
