Written early 2003.

Accept the fact of your isolation
Before you are destroyed
Along with your hopes and dreams
In the search of truth
That never existed.
Cease the quest for your cherished-
They are no one, they cannot exist.
Peel off the mask so close to skin
It can hardly be distinguished.

Hope
Is a dream for the young and naïve.
Your only rest
Is the stillness of death.
Your only peace
The silence of slavery.

The beauty, the glory, the infinite fear,
The longing, the waiting, the one lonely tear
That stifles your thinking and deadens your mind,
And summons desire that you’ll never find.

Relinquish delusion
Face life as it is
For all it’s brutal splendor
And for the love of heaven
Stop telling me of love
Of that accursed dream that
“Keeps you alive”
But tears you apart.

So sick and tired
Of living these lies
And watching you do the same
In the name of a grotesque dream.
There is no love,
No life, no dream
No hope, no truth,
No peace, no rest:
There is no escape, so
Accept the fact of your isolation.

This is certainly not a light-hearted work, but it is strong, steadfast. The power behind the words drives it to the very end. Nicely put together.
