Transcendental Sonnet #992:
Too Old to Not Ask Why

I think the best course of action for me
Is to pursue my arcane sonnetry
Let others moderate rate and berate
If need be but not me I grow too old
For flaming kids who come in from the cold

Who blame all the ills of society
On aging existentialists like me
I haven't got one thing to do with it!
I hate what you hate! The very same sh*t!

Know who your friends are choose your battles well
And then go get 'em kids go give 'em hell
But I've got a headache and I'm worried
Writing a book and hate to be hurried
Too young to die too old to not ask why

Humor trägt die Seele über Abgründe hinweg....

Dont let other people bring you down. You are wonderful(and THIS is a good sonnet)

Lets stick together.

Sounds good to me, honey!

Enough of this crap; now it's time to write a sonnet about my beautiful butterfly bride... mmmmmmmmm...

Here are a few funny lines just to let you know I'm still alive and haven't lost my sense of humor:

I just thought of something! I live in a destination!
People undertake great expense and peregrination
Just to get here where I lie about depressed
I guess I had better get up and get dressed!
